How do I book a small flight with United Airlines?

Basic Economy Tickets: When traveling in basic economy, you are allowed to carry on luggage and one personal item. The luggage size allowed for personal items is 17 x 10 x 9 inches, while for carry-on luggage is 22 x 14 x 9 inches.
