If your printer is turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer. Keep the power plug unplugged for 60 seconds, reconnect the power cord to the wall, and turn on the printer. If the error persists, remove the cartridge from the printer, clean the cartridge contacts with a cloth, and override hp printer cartridge error.
