Working principle of sludge dewatering machine
Permalink

The double-screw sludge dehydrator is a new solid-liquid separation equipment which uses the principle of screw extrusion, through the strong extrusion pressure generated by the change of screw diameter and pitch, as well as the tiny gap between the moving ring and the fixed ring, to achieve the extrusion and dehydration of sludge.

Principle of construction:

The main body of the sludge dehydrator is composed of multiple fixed rings and swimming rings, and the filter device is formed through the spiral shaft. The first part is the concentration part, and the second part is the dewatering part. The concentration and pressing and dewatering of sludge are completed in one cylinder, which replaces the traditional filtering method of filter cloth and centrifugation with a unique and subtle filter body mode.

Principle of dehydration:

The sludge in the concentration section after gravity concentration, is transported to the dehydration section, in the process of progress along with the filter joints and pitch gradually smaller, and the back pressure plate under the blocking effect, produce great internal pressure, volume continuously reduced, to achieve the purpose of full dehydration.
