If you are an amateur traveler and need help to find suitable flight options using Google flights, then you can follow the steps mentioned below without skipping. Additionally, make sure you use filters to make your search more customized.

  • Enter “Google Flights” in the address bar and hit the Enter key.
  • You will be redirected to the “Google Flights” Page.
  • Select Travel Type of your choice. You may choose “Round Trip,” “One Way,” or “Multi-City”.
  • Before entering the “Departure” and “Arrival” airport. Please select the number of passengers and “Travel Class.” You can set your preference using the drop-down option located adjacent to “Travel Type.”
  • Enter the Origin Airport or City in the field that says, “Where From?”
  • Further Enter Destination Airport or City in the field that says “Where To?”
  • Enter the Departure Date and Return Date. If you are flexible with the travel dates, then you can click on the “Calendar icon” to find the cheapest day to fly. Once you select your desired travel date, click on “Done.”
  • Further, Click on “Search.”

Once you click on the “Search,” you will be directed to the flight result page based on your search. Additionally, you would find many filters that you can use to customize your search, including “Bags,” “Stops,” “Airlines,” “Price,” “Times,” and “Connecting Airports.” These filters work if you want to save on airline booking. If a passenger doesn’t wish to check-in the bag, he/she can set the filter based on his/her preference. Flight tickets that don’t include check-in baggage are way cheaper. Additionally, budget travelers can also make use of the “Stops” filter to find cheap flights. Passengers can save on flight booking if they select connecting flights instead of non-stop flights.

  • Preview the itinerary and other travel details.
  • Further, click on “Select.”
