The steps for resetting your Account Live password depends on the factor that you have turned the two-step authentication feature on or not. If it is on, then you will have to visit account.live.com/password/reset and follow the onscreen guidelines to receive an Account Live password reset code. However, if the feature is disabled, then go to the account.live.com/acsr and enter your registered email address.
