Spice and palm oil is a combination of two ingredients that are commonly used in African cuisine, particularly in West Africa. The blend is made up of a variety of spices such as cumin, coriander, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper that are ground together to create a flavorful and aromatic mixture, combined with palm oil which is extracted from the fruit of the oil palm tree. The oil has a distinctive red-orange color and has a slightly sweet, nutty flavor.

Round fish refers to a variety of fish species that are round in shape, as opposed to flat fish such as halibut or sole. These fish are typically found in the ocean and have a round body shape with a symmetrical dorsal and ventral fins. Examples of round fish include salmon, cod, haddock, tuna, and snapper.
