Research Says Machines Will Work More Than Humans Within 7 Y

Report from the  

organizers of the World Economic slotxo Forum in Davos. which was published on Monday It focuses on the rapidly changing labor market and states that more than 50% of all jobs worldwide will be performed by machines and robots by 2025, the next seven years.

 

 

The World Economic Council (WEF) estimates that machines will account for 52 percent of all jobs in the labor sector within seven years. which is an increase from only 29% currently using machines

 

The report also states that by 2022, around 75 million jobs worldwide will be replaced by machines. But it will be offset by creating 133 million new jobs.

 

However, the major challenge is training. and provide new knowledge to employees to prepare them for the new world of work.

 

Saadia Zahidi, a member of the Board of the World Economic Forum, said the study shows that both businesses and governments are not fully aware of the extent of the major challenges in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

 

The second "Workforce Future 2018" report, which surveyed executives representing more than 15 million employees at 20 companies, said job creation was more positive. Compared to the previous report released in 2016, as business executives are aware of the opportunities that technology can make it possible

 

 

The WEF says the challenge for employers is including to work off-site Building a safety network to protect workers and training new skills for employees

 

However, the report found that only a third of respondents that plans to train new skills for employees who are at risk

 

The report says nearly 50% of companies The number of full-time workers at the company is expected to be reduced by 2022, while nearly two-fifths are expected to increase headcount. And more than a quarter expect automation to create a new role in their organization.
