1. Open the Nest app.
2. If you have more than one home in the Nest app, make sure that the one you want to grant access to is active on the app home screen.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Family & Guests .
5. Tap Add a person.
6. Enter the person's name as you'd like it to appear in the app and tap Continue.
