How do you go about front end design, color scheme and match it to the clients preferences?

Hi, I'm a newbie to web dev front end and I know HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JS.

Recently, I took up a project and made a simple website but as I am progressing, I am finding it difficult to ideate and meet the clients preferences. I am new to front end and I understand that web design and web development are separate jobs. But in this freelance job, I am doing both. I think more like a programmer and I lack the creativity and aesthetic eye of a web designer. I would like to mainly seek some advice in the following:

How do you decide/learn to pick the right design, color scheme, fonts for the website? How does one make it look appealing? Are there any tricks to it? So far, I've been doing trial and error by replacing different color schemes manually and it has been a tedious process. Any tips/resources available?

How do you go about understanding what a client wants? If he wants a professional looking website vs something appealing, bold and bright? How do you understand his/her expectations?

Any tips for a newbie in front end(unrelated to the questions above) are welcome. :)

Thanks in advance.

I would start by looking at other website designs and mimicking colour schemes you like.. over time you will be able to identify what’s good and what’s not :) check out the website dribbble for some aspiration! People put up their website or app mockups there

Hi, the thing is that you can spend far too much time trying to get a page to look the same across browsers, and even in the unlikely event somebody does notice the difference between browsers, they probably won't really care. Might as well embrace it. Still. I recommend to give a try to my favorite best monogram fonts thedesignest.net/free-premium-monogram-fonts/ Cheers

The front-end design is one of the most critical aspects of your website. You need to visit here Qwerty Experts and learn more helpful things about qwerty experts. It is the first thing that interacts with your users and has a huge impact on how successful you'll be. When talking about front-end design, there are two aspects, web typography and color scheme. Web Typography means choosing font, size, and layout for different elements like headings, body text, and buttons.
