How a VPN works and what it does in China

Opera has built-in vpn but it does not work. I use the Google Chrome browser and installed the vpn application in it. Now I can go to sites that are blocked in my country, I just change the country and the ip address changes and everything works. And I don’t need to go through the TOR browser which is very slow. I don’t know what kind of vpn I installed, yes and it doesn’t matter, it works and makes me comfortable.

It is created on the basis of a normal connection to the global network (actually on top of it). A tunnel is a direct connection between your laptop or PC and the server computer, where data is transmitted in encrypted form. By the way, both of these devices are called nodes. In the future, information is sent to external services-sites that you want to open, and your IP address is replaced with a server address.

You should not use a proxy for a browser or extension that promises you online access to VPN: in China this does not work and in most cases you will at least be left without communication at all and without the ability to download another program.
