I've actually been to Moscow before -- I lived there for about 4 months back in 2009-2010 with an exchange program. However, I'm assuming that it has changed a lot since then, and if I were to go this time, I'd be going as a solo female rather than with a group. Has anyone been to Russia recently and can speak to whether it's safe or not?
